C09: LITTLE HANDS

Japanator and reports from Japan Expo from this past June already confirm it:
"Little Hands" is a compilation book with popular and well known Japanese artists, talented French and Thai creators -- and yours truly representing USA.

All proceeds go to the Japan Red Cross, each copy is available at $10 USD. Not only the listed sites, but Hendane.com and affiliates will have copies available.
Visit the Little Hands project website, and consider donating to the Japan Red Cross and other relief & volunteer efforts closest to you. Thanks, folks!

B15: OPERATION FARAWAY

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Gradius, my absolute favorite video game of all... 3 years in the making, is a complete concept album! Original tracks inspired by, and remixes of some of the most recognizable music from Konami's flagship shooter (plus some obscure favorites from other worthwhile Konami shmups.) "OPERATION FARAWAY", I propose to release by the end of the year in a physical form -- but online you'll be able to check out new tracks as I release them on Youtube! Look for more in the coming days! And tomorrow... DESTROY THE CORE!

B13: FAR TOO LONG

Far too long since the last post. Gonna keep it short and sweet -- so LISTEN UP!

A47: IBARA

Ibara Sorekara is a game I'm dying to play. I loved Ibara and Battle Garegga to death for the brief times I was able to play them. Good graphic, tough gameplay... and yeah, hot chicks piloting giant boss mechs. I was hoping to go to Japan this winter with a comic in tow, and although that's not going to happen till next year, if there is one doujinshi I'd like to have my name on, it's the Ibara series.

[Erased the 2nd page, as I still am pretty poor at katakana. It's "Deisendo" (Descend), not "Deihindo" (whut?)]

A26: SIEG ZEON

Been waaaay behind on commissions in favor of comics and staying MOTIVATED. Seems harder and harder as the months go on, which is honestly really scary. I chalk it up to more overblown expectations than absolute lack of work. I AM trying often to juggle three or five different projects at the same time.

The mood here is PERFECT. Linework, not so much. For three UC era Zeon underwater mobile suits, they're short on looks, so I had to pump up the attitude.

Also this:

What looks more and more like a definite doujin project BESIDES THE OTHER TWO is a Gradius Gaiden else-worlds take. I love the Viper and all, but she's gotta have a home away from home. That's where the battle ready, 1,300ft wide Cerberus-class supercarrier "Faraway Reach" comes into play.
