Belated, as Tara tends to drag poor Tess somewhere she doesn't want to go.

C10: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

The Demon Mages made it to year ten today! They've come a long way, after thousands of sketches, pictures and designs, five major rewrites, dozens of short stories, even a few video game drafts. It's been nothing but fun the whole way, but from here on out, it gets serious. Good work, ladies. Let's keep it moving.

This week, a roundup of the past two weeks worth of insanity at New York Comic Con/Anime Festival (back in October 8th-10th) and Wizard World New England (October 15th-17th.)
First up, Tess and Tara from WWNE! Not bad for a first outing -- the convention, I mean!

B30: SETTING A NEW TONE

Tess, with a nice halftone coating. Judging from this and the previous R-Type pic, I have a completely simple and reliable toning method now. NOW, I'm excited!!!
(Hahah, hasty comment entry at the last possible moment at work. ERASED.)

August is over! Thank goodness, 'cause that wasn't fun! What WAS a ton of fun was this gift art for a special friend of mine... Tasty looking parfait, huh?

Some samples of the take from Ohayocon this past weekend. These were all during the Art Jam panels from Friday and Saturday night, up on the projectors for live demonstration. I had a TON of fun producing them, which is a notch further in the direction of... well... let's not get TOO ahead of ourselves for now.

B03: OHIO BOUND

I was bound to be sidetracked at some point. But all the better for it. I'll be riding shotgun into Columbus for Ohayocon next Friday, and won't be back till the following Monday, so this post should tide things over until I get back. Some looks into works-in-progress:
