A38: FIRE WARNING

The very center of the Evil Range has gone for centuries unexplored, unseen, and unrecorded. From the most remote long range nanospy satellites deployed by the Gradius Royal Army, only this composite image could be extracted. Seconds afterwards, the palm-sized nanospy carrier body was destroyed and the signal automatically cut off before it could give away position to the Bacterians.

Early estimates put the Bacterian megafortress at over 4500 kilometers across it's widest point. The black ring that surrounds it potentially matches Planet Gradius' own circumference -- the ring itself comprised of ... billions of Core Warships, many unclassified and unconfirmed.
